About Ruth A B Clegg
I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t thinking about how I could explore the world. An early riser, I would roam the neighborhood before any one else was out and about. I could sense everything about the Earth. Purchasing a camera was the way that I saved those incredible scenes and made them my own. I was excited about the process, the darkroom and the final prints. Then I was introduced to printmaking and I fell in love with lithography. I had a very personal relationship with my litho stone for 2 years in college at the University of Rhode Island (BFA 1977). Now, I am exploring the polyester plate lithography at the Providence Art Club and I am in love once again. I look forward to the growth my crafts allow me and to share them with you!
