Hot Type at the Providence Art Club

The première exhibit of the portfolio was held in the Providence Art Club Dodge House Gallery, 11 Thomas Street, from June 21 – July 16, 2021. On June 23rd a Zoom program was offered free to the public showcasing the video created by portfolio artist Ruth Clegg. The program featured artists Elizabeth Goddard, Elizabeth Zimmerman, David Witbeck, and Carol FitzSimonds who explained the inspiration behind their prints and talked about each printmaking process used. The exhibit opening reception was held Sunday afternoon, June 27th.

Portfolio (ed. #1/28) was donated to the Providence Art Club (PAC) Permanent Collection.
The single portfolio available for purchase (ed. #2/28) was auctioned to raise funds to acquire studio equipment for PAC. Following the auction, collector Joseph A. Chazan M.D. donated the portfolio to the Rhode Island School of Design Museum Graphics Collection at the request of curator Jan Howard. 
Crestar, Mfg of East Greenwich crafted the exhibit frames.
