About Marion Wilner

Legend has it that I was born with a pencil in my hand. As far back as I can remember I felt compelled to draw the world around me; people, places, flowers, trees, shoes, apples, pears and rocky shores. My work has developed in various mediums as I explored the figure, land- and seascapes, mythology and biblical history.

Currently I am creating a body of work that focuses on the intersection of art and science. Entropy, quanta, velocity, supernova and the expanding universe are some of the words I am transforming into images. These drawings, paintings and prints are searching, much as our ancestors did, to reveal our place in the grand cosmic scheme.
