About Elizabeth A. Goddard
Elizabeth A. “Lisa” Goddard moved her studio to Newport, RI in 2018, after 19 years as co-founder of Studio Goddard Partridge, Pawtucket, RI. From 2008-2015 she was the executive director of the nationally accredited Newport Art Museum. She has taught painting, drawing, journaling and printmaking. Goddard has juried numerous exhibits and has appeared on radio and television programs on the arts. Her work is in public and private collections including Fidelity Investments; Berkshire Partners; Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships; New Britain Museum of American Art; Newport Art Museum; Boston Athenaeum; University of Connecticut; Fairfield University; Wheaton College and Slater Museum.
Goddard is member of the Providence Art Club, the Art League of Rhode Island, and the Printmakers’ Network of Southern New England. Goddard’s work includes woodcuts and monotypes. She is particularly interested in telling visual stories about the natural world.
Goddard worked in her early adult life in radio and television in Syracuse, NY, Denver, CO, Middlebury and Burlington, VT and Boston, MA. Among the first women to become members of studio crews and on-air personalities, Ms. Goddard won a New England Emmy Award as associate producer of “Miller’s Court”, WCVB-TV.
